In the morning of August 26, 2022, the consortium of three organizations, Plan International Vietnam, CARE International in Vietnam and the Center for Research on Initiatives of Community Development (RIC) held a workshop to introduce the program “Reaching the Furthest Behind – Improving the quality of life of especially disadvantaged community groups in Quang Tri and Hoa Binh provinces” in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province.

At the U.S.-Vietnam Agri-Business Dialogue event organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development – MARD of Vietnam on the sidelines of the US-ASEAN Special Summit, a special Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture in Vietnam (PSAV), the National Agriculture Extension (NAEC), and CARE, paving the way forward for the rollout of the “Farming for Change – She Feeds the World” project in Vietnam (SFtW Vietnam).

CARE launching an initiative to advance women’s economic empowerment in Vietnam

Ha Giang, March 2nd, 2022. CARE International in Vietnam collaborates with the People’s Committees of Lai Chau and Ha Giang to organize inception workshops to launch the project “Advancing Women’s Economic Empowerment in Vietnam – AWEEV”. The project is expected to assist more than 2,635 ethnic minority women and men in 1,550 households living in remote areas of the two provinces to improve their economic well-being.
